I saw How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Broadway) on 04/01/11. Overall, I'd say it was a 2-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “Radcliff horribly miscast in a wooden, robotic performance”
I had a ok time and left the show feeling surprised he was cast and disappointed. I'd describe the show as boring, miscast, and poor. The end was a highlight of the show because the torture was then over. If this were a movie, I'd rate it G. I would recommend this show to no one but not to thinking adults.
I saw this show because I was given tickets. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the center mezzanine area of the theater. The view was clear and the seats were comfy.
Daniel Radcliff Plays the role of Finch as a robot.Every line feels forced and unnatural.I loved both the movie and Mathew Broderick in the title role when last played on Broadway.Radcliff was totally miscast in this role. This version was also boring and every joke was forced and missed the mark.Everyone seems to be surprised that he could sing and dance,Which he can,The problem is,he cant do any of it well.If you wish to see J Pierpont Finch as a robot. Then you may enjoy this version, otherwise, stay home and watch the movie
