I saw Fela! (Broadway) on 10/08/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 5-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “this is the new face of Broadway.”

I had a amazing time and left the show feeling ecstatic and motivated. I'd describe the show as lively, moving, and passionate. Sahr ngaujah was a highlight of the show because he commanded the main role very well. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to friends, family, and anyone who likes a good time but not to kids.

I saw this show because I wanted to see Patti Labelle in the play. I would see it again. I sat in the center balcony area of the theater. The view was clear and the seats were comfy.
