I saw American Idiot (Broadway) on 05/11/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 2-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing.”

I had a lousy time and left the show feeling assaulted and hard of hearing.I'd describe the show as loud, pointless, and boring. The flying sequence was a highlight of the show because it had visual appeal. If this were a movie, I'd rate it PG-13. I would recommend this show to teens but not to intelligent people.

I saw this show because I got discount preview seats. I wouldn't see it again. I sat in the mezzanine area of the theater. The view was excellent and the seats were fine.
