I saw A Little Night Music (Broadway) on 12/29/10. Overall, I'd say it was a 4-star rating. I'd summarize it by saying “A beautiful piece of theatre and a moment of history for Broadway!”

I had a pleasant time and left the show feeling enchanted and enlightened. I'd describe the show as lovely, touching, and surprisingly funny. Bernadette peters was a highlight of the show because she's Bernadette Peters. What else do you need?. I would recommend this show to a true theatre geek but not to little kids.

I saw this show because I wanted to see Bernadette really badly. I would see it again. .

The main thing about this show for me was seeing Bernadette and she exceeded all my expectations. Her comedic timing was off the wall and I wasn't really expecting to be laughing during it. There really are no words for her performance of "Send in the Clowns" and she got the applause she deserved.

I was somewhat disappointed in Elaine Stritch. At times, she was right on it and she knew what she was doing. But she still had to look at Bernadette for her lines sometimes. She was funny though. And she also practically spoke "Liassons". I had read about Elaine with her lines but I was hoping that she had improved since they've been in the show since August.

The show was also a little too long. Once Desiree and Fredrick got together, I was ready for it to just end. I enjoyed it but it's still too long. I am glad I could see it and I feel like I saw a special moment in theatre history. I'm blessed to have had a chance to see two legends on the same Broadway stage.
